Arthritis herbs

Arthritis herbs are used to relieve the symptoms of this disease. They are often ancient remedies handed down from generation to generation. Others have been used from ancient times long before modern medicines were developed. They are often surprisingly potent. However usually they take a little longer than present day medicines to be really effective. They rarely have side effects.

Here are some examples:

Cat’s claw: this plant is a root. It is used to enhance the immune system and reduce inflammation. This makes it an effective treatment for arthritis.

Devil’s Claw: this is another root that is used for medicinal purposes. It has been found to be helpful against pain and inflammation. It comes in capsules or as a tincture.

Cayenne: can be used topically in the form of cream. When you massage it on the joints it reduces pain.

Ginger: this root blocks the action of chemicals produced by your body that will give rise to swelling and pain. Ginger can be taken in a variety of ways. Many nations drink it combined with tea and in their cooking. Some people just take it in capsule form.
